Poor Ethan survived on Maggie's free pies. A tycoon, he finds her poor and daughter Vivian disabled. He sues son Richard to reclaim stolen recipe/brand, reopens the shop, cures Vivian; Richard repents. Ethan repays kindness and bonds with O'Haras.
